Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin is complete and coming to theaters November 22nd, in time for Thanksgiving. This offering is an opportunity to invest in the Prints & Advertising (P&A) for the film.

What is the cost of discipleship?

As the world teeters on the brink of annihilation, Dietrich Bonhoeffer is swept into the epicenter of a deadly plot to assassinate Hitler. With his faith and fate at stake, Bonhoeffer must choose between upholding his moral convictions or risking it all to save millions of Jews from genocide. Will his shift from preaching peace to plotting murder alter the course of history or cost him everything?

What is P&A?

P&A stands for “Prints and Advertising.” It’s an old theatrical industry term from back when movies were printed onto physical film. The term is still widely used today to describe the cost of taking a finished film like Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin. and marketing it to moviegoers.

P&A is a crucial piece of the marketing budget for a film and may be appealing to certain investors. Why? Because with P&A, money is only raised after the film is already made and you know the quality of the work. Also, any potential return to P&A investors is paid directly out of theatrical proceeds—meaning P&A investors get paid right after the theater gets paid. Bonhoeffer's P&A will follow the standard film industry payout model.

It’s the last money in and the first money out.*

What’s more, this P&A investment holds the potential for returns far faster than the significantly longer timeframe required when investing in a film before the filming process even begins.

How much could investors make?

No return is guaranteed, so only invest what you can afford to lose. The maximum potential return is 100% repayment of initial capital invested plus an additional 20%. This means that if you invest $100 you could potentially receive that entire $100 back plus an additional $20.

The Mission

When Emmanuel and Camille Kampouris discovered a biography detailing the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, they knew they needed to share his story with the world and do it right. The pair spent years refining scripts and assembling a team that would do this courageous spiritual giant the justice he so richly deserves.

Bonehoeffer examines the life of one of the Second World War's unsung heroes, a young man who stood unwaveringly for truth in the face of evil, tyranny, and a growing genocide against the Jewish people. Emmanuel and Camille hope the film will encourage people across the world to become like Bonhoeffer, and be willing to "give it all for their faith."

"Bonhoeffer is not just a man for all time, but for our time." - Todd Komarnicki, director.
